Department of Conservative Dentistry
The Department of Conservative Dentistry conducts various medical treatment and research projects so as to maximize esthetic effect while removing teeth as little as possible so that the teeth damaged from various causes (like teeth decay) can be preserved rather than extracted.
Major Clinical Results
Based on the top-level clinical and research results in Korea, the Department of Conservative Dentistry has trained latest dental trend and clinical treatment by opening various training programs every year such as endodontics advanced training course, microsurgery training course, tooth bleaching seminar and composite resin training course for those doctors in private practice. These courses are greatly favored by doctors in private practice. Also, patients’ convenience has been improved by adopting the CEREC3 system of using CAD/CAM. By adopting the CEREC3 system, it has been made possible to restore masticatory function by making available the esthetic restoration on the same day. All medical staffs at the Department of Conservative Dentistry, without staying at the current level of achievement, are trying hard to become the top level clinic in all areas of patients’ treatment, research and training.
