Emergency Care Center

Emergency medicine is somewhat different medical field to save the patient's life by professionally conducting emergency care for physical abnormalities caused by acute disease or injury. It also includes the performance of scientific studies related to the improvement of treatment effects in cure, surgery or rehabilitation by assisting in the recovery of the patient's condition to a normal or almost normal level within the shortest possible time.
One of the characteristics of emergency medicine is the need to reach a wide diagnostic field covering all clinical areas, whereas other clinic departments are specialized deeply into their own fields.
Regardless of this point, however, emergency medicine does involve a considerable degree of specialization within its own peculiar fields such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, shock and toxicity. Precisely, emergency medicine can be described as being the starting point for all further clinical examinations and diagnoses. Another characteristic is that emergency care is conducted only in the emergency room without the provision of further hospital care, compared with other departments that treat both outpatients and inpatients.
This reduces the burden of outpatients or inpatients in order to maintain preparations for perfect care in all unknown emergency situations, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition to emergency care inside the hospital, emergency medicine extends the coverage of medical care to outside the hospital through teaching or directing the provision of first aid prior to arrival at the hospital with programs such as 119-ambulance aid. That is, emergency medicine fulfills an important role in constructing the social safety network of the national health system called Emergency Care System.
